Gary Bruce Williams (born March 4, 1945) is a former collegiate basketball coach and current university administrator from the United States. He has worked as the head coach at the University of Maryland, the Ohio State University, Boston College, and American University, among other institutions of higher learning. In 2002, he was the driving force behind Maryland’s victory in the NCAA Tournament Championship.
